Welcome! I recently graduated with my Ph.D. in Political Science with concentrations in Comparative Politics and International Relations from the University of Florida. My research focuses on international organizations in Africa and the political determinants of their involvement in member state affairs. Specifically, I focus on their role as international election observers and how they are impacting the nature of election observation on the continent. I have conducted fieldwork in Botswana, Ethiopia, and Malawi. I am currently a Lecturer and McPherson/Eveillard Post-Doctoral Fellow in Government at Smith College.
